13. Cookie Policy

Flexidreams uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website. The following section explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work or more efficient, and to provide reporting information. The cookies we set are referred to as "first-party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than us are known as "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functions to be provided on or via the website (e.g. advertising, interactive content and analysis). The parties that set these third-party cookies recognize the device both when it visits our website and when it visits certain other websites.

Why do we use cookies?

We use first-party and third-party cookies for a number of reasons. Some cookies are necessary for our website to function for technical reasons and we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track the interests of our users and use them in a targeted manner in order to improve the experience on our website. Third parties deliver cookies through our website for advertising, analysis and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.

Types of cookies

The specific types of first and third party cookies that are provided through our website and the purposes for which they are carried out are described in the overview below (please note that the specific cookies that are provided vary depending on the website you are visiting may vary):

Important website cookies: These cookies are absolutely necessary in order to provide you with services available through our website and to use some of its functions, e.g. B. Access to safe areas.

Performance and function cookies: These cookies are used to improve the performance and functionality of our website, but are not strictly necessary for their use. Without these cookies, however, certain functions may no longer be available.

Analysis and adaptation cookies: These cookies collect information that is either used in aggregate form to understand how our website is used or how effective marketing campaigns are, or to customize our website for you.

Advertising cookies: These cookies are used to make advertising messages more relevant to you. They perform roles such as preventing the same ad from showing again and again, making sure ads are served properly to advertisers, and in some cases selecting ads that match your interests.

Social network cookies: These cookies allow you to share pages and content that you find interesting on our website via social networks and other third-party websites. These cookies can also be used for advertising purposes.

What about other tracking technologies like web beacons?

Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may from time to time use other, similar technologies, such as B. Web Beacons (sometimes referred to as "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphic files that contain a unique identifier that allows us to recognize when someone has visited our website or opened an email that we sent. In this way, we can, for example, monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page of our website to another, transmit cookies or communicate with them in order to understand whether you have reached our website on a third-party website via a displayed online advertisement, to improve website performance and measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many cases, these technologies rely on cookies to function properly, so rejecting cookies will impair their functionality.

Do you run targeted advertising?

Third parties can place cookies on your computer or mobile device in order to serve advertising through our website. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites to deliver relevant advertisements for goods and services that you may be interested in. You may also use technology that measures the effectiveness of advertising. This can be achieved through the use of cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to display relevant advertisements about products and services of potential interest to you. The information collected through this process does not allow us or you to identify your name, contact details or other personal information unless you provide it.

How can I control cookies?

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or change the controls of your web browser so that cookies are accepted or rejected. If you reject cookies, you can continue to use our website, although your access to some functions and areas of our website may be restricted. Since the means by which you can refuse cookies through the controls on your web browser vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser's help menu for more information. In addition, most advertising networks give you the option to opt out of targeted advertising. For more information, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com. The date at the bottom of this cookie statement indicates when it was last updated.
